Steve founded Aspen Capital in 1987. His experience runs the gamut from residential to resort development, debt to equity, boom times to bust. Steve spent his formative years working for Landsing Property Corp., Smith-Ritchie Corp. and The Rawhide Co as a licensed real estate and mortgage broker. He heads our loan servicing company, Gregory Funding. A graduate of Colorado College and the University of Wisconsin Graduate School in Real Estate, Steve has been underwriting, negotiating and structuring real estate loans and development financing since 1975. He is a dedicated philanthropist and has served on numerous boards including Chamber Music Northwest and the State Department of Environmental Quality Task Force. He also served as president of the Mittleman Jewish Community Center and the Jewish Federation of Portland.
